The minute my best friend told me he was getting married, I knew it would be a fiasco. Maybe that's why I never bothered to meet the bride, or go to the rehearsal.

A few hours after he left her at the altar, the bride and I were both drinking in the same bar. I felt it was my duty to listen to her, buy her drinks and as she got more drunk, take care of her.
