Matt Murray is Australias number one private investigator. He recieves a call from an old friend Kishitani the owner of the giant Mitsui Japanese conglommerate based in Tokyo that is working for the U.S. government on a secret project.The Russians have developed new hypersonic missiles, fast, deadly and accurate deliverable into any country. The USA, Europe are exposed, a fast response is needed, enter Mitsui. Corruption, sinister characters of the under world along with secret agents lead to torture, killings across the globe. Amongst this background the Russian President brimming with confidence, and he decides to declare war using his new missiles.Something goes wrong, the missiles guidance system does not work.....the Kremlin do not know why.
