The A B C's of Funeral Planning: Taking the Mystery Out of the Mortuary

Whether we want to face it, or not, one day we will all be involved in making funeral or cremation arrangements. Maybe by pre-planning for ourselves, or at the time of need for a family member or friend. With over 21,000 funeral homes, cemeteries and crematories in the United States, how do you know which one to choose?Although they all look the same on the outside, inside they are quite different. Is the mortuary owned by a family or a large corporation? Is there a difference? After retiring from his twenty-one-year career as a Police Officer, Mark Lohman spent the next thirteen years in the Funeral Profession, as a Funeral Director, Pre-Need Salesman and Funeral Home Manager. Mark helped over two thousand families on that dreaded day when they had to go into the funeral home and start the process of making final arrangements. He made it his priority to always treat his families with dignity, respect and complete honesty. In The A B C's of Funeral Planning, Taking the Mystery Out of the Mortuary, Mark breaks down the entire process of making funeral arrangements in a conversational and easy to understand way. He answers the most common questions families had during his career. Just a bit of a disclaimer. There is information contained in this book that the Funeral Directors, Funeral Home Managers and Corporate Executives don't want you to know. Mark shows by following his suggestions how a family can save hundreds and maybe thousands of dollars and be completely informed when making funeral arrangements without compromising the quality of the final tribute.
