As women, sometimes we find ourselves living in a constant state of apology about who we are. I believe that breaks the heart of God. We say blah, but God says, "You are so beautiful to me, can't you see. You're everything I died for, I'm everything you need. You are so beautiful, to me". Beyond The Mirror: The Beauty of You addresses the hidden truth that we are more than what meets the eye and what others project us as being. We are the crown of God's creation. We have inherent worth and dignity as God's highest and special creation. Genesis 1:30-31, we see where God took great joy and pleasure in his creative work. For, God saw that everything He had made, it was good. The Psalmist declares in 139:14 "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well." God knew what He was doing when He made you.
