Entropy: A Collection Of Poems
Entropy: A Collection Of Poems
cold streaming sweat
anxiety pressed against the glass
as survival is seemingly determined
by what is left upon the shelves
such is life by the code
that has forgotten about humanity
and what it stood for hands tremble with trepidation
over the choices left to make
as civilised consideration
takes much more than
an annual leave of absence
and simple pleasures
seem much less than they should be notions of intimacy
bury themselves in the sands
of an impermanent hiatus
as with every other concession
considered minor
merely 'precautionary' ... of course we wait; all of us;
for the greed and chaos to end
to resume functionality
as though it were
but a pothole in the road.

My sincere appreciation, as always, goes to Vijay Vaghela for his encouragement, professional formatting and artwork. My poetry collections would not be possible without his expertise and dedication.
The following are contributions from guest poets:
"INKLING" image and poem - (c) Line Monique Gauthier
"SUNDOWN" - (c) Grant G.
My family continue to support me with their encouragement. I give Glory to God for His unconditional love and gifting me with a passion to write.
