A Season of Change, the Winter Edition, is a ninety-day devotional.This devotional is designed to take you through ninety days, the Winter season, so that you can experience the change that only the Word of God can bring about.Each season in the natural is marked by certain characteristics. As Christians, we will go through different seasons in our walk with God. There will be times when everything is in bloom and there will be other times when we feel like nothing is in bloom. No matter what season you are in, the Word of God is your hope and it will sustain you. As we begin to experience the Winter season we begin to settle down and withdraw. The air is cold and the exterior conditions are not always inviting. Many evenings are spent in front of the fire instead of outside, but that does not mean we cannot enjoy ourselves. Winter may be a cold time, but it does not have to lack warmth. Winter is a time of rest for those who work outdoors; it can be a cathartic time. As we experience the winter season we want to be sure that we rest in the Word of God. This may be a time where you feel trapped, just like some feel trapped indoors during the cold spell, but that is not the case. God has placed us in our particular season for a reason. He has a plan for the Winter seasons of our lives.
