I hope to show, through the development of the story, some of my core believes: The greatest masterpiece of all is a life well lived. Life rewards those who dare. Much of life is bases on forgiveness and understanding that life must continue, regardless. The only valid alternative in life is the pursuit of happiness and the key of it all is finding someone to love. The mind is everything. I will continue to write as long as I live. I am convinced that it is the most powerful way to influence the way we and others think. This is the sequel to my novel The Personal Revolution of Facundo Marval. In this second book, In the Name of the People, Facundo continues to explore his golden trail, now from the northern perspective of Canada. From afar, he imagines day after day, the life his sister is living back in Little Venice, this forsaken place enslaved by a revolutionary mess, which is not one thing and not another, in the same dam place where she was left with her grandma some seventy five years ago. That far ago! When Facundo and her mom deserted her like a lost goat not worth bringing along. The life's of this two beings (brother and sister ), who at one time were inseparable, was drawn further and further apart by the abysm of time and the so called social revolution which have never existed. After many years of wandering: first in Cuba, eventually in U.S.A and finally in Canada. Facundo ended up earning a modest, but very prolific life, as a writer, while Isabel remained in Little Venice, dealing with atrocities never seen before in America. Perpetrated by a decayed society, which has been rotten by the spoils of oil, the business which corrupt the essence of men and contaminates the air. Witness to the daily destruction of one of the most beautiful countries in the world, paradoxically blessed with an astonishing amount of resources, which became part of the controversy. Surprisingly among such chaos, my sister still managed to survive, find the love of her life, start a family, and have a child, named Angel. By the time this story develops she already is the grandma of two girls: Isabel and Teresa. In short, more than Facundo ever accomplished, in spite of the much more benevolent environment in which he lived.
