Viruses these days have surely impacted our daily routine of life to a great extent.
We need to understand that we are just risking our health through our own hands. Harmful germs, bacteria, and several viruses are found almost everywhere in this world.
Cleaning the hands with soap and water or sanitizing them with alcohol-based hand sanitizers for a minimum of 20 seconds can surely reduce the chances to getting infected. World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended hand sanitizers with a minimum of 60% alcohol in it.
With clean hands, we can surely protect our loved ones from getting infected from a lot of germs, infections, and viruses.
There are basically three different ways through which you or your loved ones could get infected. These are:
- Airborne - Whenever, someone sneezes or coughs and you are nearby, chances for you to breathe those droplets in becoming very high.
- Direct contact: If someone has sneezed or coughed in his/her hand and you shake your hands with that person.
- Indirect contact: If someone who got infected from the virus has touched something and mistakenly, you touched it too and forgot to clean your hands.
There is nothing much we could do for airborne germ transmission. However, hand sanitizer can surely help you with direct and indirect contact transmission.
