Arvid's Treasure is the story of Andrew, a young out-of-work magazine writer faced with the challenge of planning his future. Annie convinces Andrew that even if searching for Arvid's treasure turns out to be a wild goose chase, the search will provide experiences and adventures that will help Andrew decide his future. Along the way, Andrew finds romance with Jane, a pretty naturalist. He also finds danger by stumbling onto a group of ruthless poachers. The story of Arvid's Treasure is superimposed over a backdrop of historical events and scenes from Rocky Mountain National Park.
