Luke Meteor, the hero of this story is a very absentminded and forgetful astronaut. He flies nonstop since he got his diploma from the internet. He often forgets the simple things, which get him some trouble!. Luke Meteor and the Princess of the Stars Written by Cambraia Fonseca Fernandes, is a story about one of Luke's outer space adventures.There is a message in this story. Lots of children are forgetful, and in this book teaches them that being forgetful has consequences. Hopefully this book will remind children that being responsible and careful is always best!. I also loved the illustration that are on each page of the book. They are fun and quite well done. This book also give some information about what is in the Universe, the planets, stars, meteors. Teaches children a bit of astronomy, so they can learn while having fun. The message and content both seem to be directed to small children, aged four through eight. This book also uses frequent long words such as "audacious". I do not believe that young children would know what that word went, but perhaps it would provide a learning opportunity. Overall, I recommend this book, it is a fun read.Come with Luke Meteor and take a spatial trip with him in his fast Flying Saucer, sport model, and meet the princess of the Empire of Seven stars!
