For over 20 years Evelyn Nazario-Rose has been widely recognized for her passion in equality for the disenfranchised, homeless and domestic violence victims and the importance of being educated. A mother, motivational speaker, and mentor, Evelyn has enabled other children, youth and adults alike to "take up their bed and walk" helping many individuals transform their lives through compassion, perseverance and love.

Evelyn currently lives with her husband Dwayne Rose and has been married to him twice - the first time in April, 2003 and the second in May, 2017. They have 4 children Jason, Luis, Xavier, and Adrianna. She has three grandchildren - Adrian, Jackson and Lila. She also has two dogs that she lovingly calls her fur babies named Annabelle and Champ.
