His majesty, King Benjamin Vine', ruler of the Mountain Kingdom, stood motionless in the pouring rain as the funeral pyres were lit. Attendants were careful to protect the wood from the moisture and light the flames quickly. Special accelerants turned the flames into towering infernos instantly, engulfing the bodies in the consuming blaze. There were eleven pyres - including ones for his wife and oldest son. Also being passed to the great beyond via this thunderous cremation were his brother Dorche'- Ruler of the Valley Kingdom, his sister-in-law, their three sons and their four grandsons. The entire royal family of the Valley Kingdom had been executed - save their remaining granddaughter. This was all that was left of his brother's family. She was all that was left to prove that he ever walked this planet. His entire blood line was violently plucked from existence and only this infant female survived.
