When my graddaughter was young, she used to visit my wife and I in out 200 year old home in Crediton, Devon. In the back of the house were 2 old barns dating 1500 and a 9 metre deep well. Bethany had a vivid imagination at that age, and he Grandad Mac hit on the idea of writing a book for her, the adventures being right there in his home in Crediton. Bethany was fascinated by the well that had been recently discovered under two very large slate slabs, and now her grandad had removed them and made a feature of the well, dropping 3 rope lights down to illuminate it. At that time, her grandad and his wife Kay also had a grumpy maincoon cat, that just had to be included in the story, also previously when they lived in Spain, they had another cat called Seville, he also appears at some stage in the story. Hope you enjoy the story, I know your children, grandchildren will.
