RFID applications are widely used in many fields such as cellar phone, airport luggage, NFC money security, car keys, door keys, grocery checkout, inventory management, etc. Japanese convenience store is the first use RFID for checkout in the world. However, there is compensation from government due the shortage of man power in Japan. Long time age, Walmart announced that their supermarket will use RFID if any vendor can provide 1 cent per tag. Typically, it costs one cent for each component IC and antenna and packaging process.There is a possibility for a tag to decrease cost for manufacturing a RFID if there is no packaging process which is chip less RFID. Chip less RFID or all printed process of RFID, it is now not possible yet for manufacturing vendors. More efforts need to be engaged in this field, IC manufacturing method by inkjet printing technology and materials for process of inkjet printing the memory and logic units. The last factor but the important one is that the rule for RFID might be not very applicable for the future chip less RFID and then it will need revision for the all applications.Continuous innovation and hard working to grab the marketing and success!
