Memoir of a United Nations Peacekeeper and Her Varied Poetry

This book entitled "Memoir of a United Nations Peacekeeper and Her VariedPoetry" was written to incorporate all the poems that the author had written (oldand new) in order to have one complete book of poetry in addition to her memoriesof her peacekeeping work while she was employed by the United Nations. Her firstdesire was only to revise her first book which contains nineteen poems. However, the author wrote twenty-two more new poems of varied subjects --- some poems arefilled with emotions of a mother and as a friend; some are tributes to famous peopleand international personalities; some are delightful and pleasant; some have morallessons; and some are of ordinary living and love of nature. However, she finallydecided that a separate new and comprehensive book of poems would be better as itwould also be a good legacy for her children and her children's children. Thus, thissecond book was born.There are a total of forty-one poems that the author had written. For this second book, the first nineteen poems have been taken from her first published book to be addedto her twenty-two new poems of varied subjects.
