The Unchosen Gypsy: Making the Best of Life as it Happens through the Life of Nita

From the time of our conception, a story is formed in all of our hearts. Distinguishably designed by the creative power of God, each of our stories captures our journey and will to help move the hearts of others. All He asks of us is to pray, trust and believe in him. One morning in 2017, I was brushing my teeth and a soft voice whispered to me to write a book and to title it: The Unchosen Gypsy. Little did I know, this book would cover the transition of my own personal quest in life, hoping to inspire others who, too, experience a nomadic life and travels. Prayerfully, within 60 days the book was finished, and my story was finally coloring the blankness of many pages waiting to be read. It never ever occurred to me to write a book, but when I heard God's voice, I did not hesitate for a second and went straight to work. My Life prior to the writing Book: Mary Y Douglas, a Virginia native born 1949 in Carrsville, moved to Newport News, graduated from George W. Carver high school, now known as Crittenden Middle School. I was a "C" average student, attempted to attend college, but never finished. I worked until retirement at age 62, and became one of my parents' caregivers until their final days on this earth. I miss them dearly.
