One of life's great pleasures is eating, especially being able to cook your own delicious meals. It's a wonderful way of enjoying the satisfaction of creativity. Sadly, many people miss out on this because they think they can't cook because, either they tried it and failed miserably, or are intimidated by the thought of cooking. So to all who fit that description, this book is dedicated to you and will bring you the good news: COOKING IS EASY! I'm not a gourmet cook. What I don't know about cookingcould fill a book! I'm basically self-taught and learned to cookthrough trial and error (lots of error), yet I'm capable of cooking some really delicious dishes. The premise of this book is: "if I can do it, you can do it." Some professional chefs wouldprobably roll their eyes at the thought of someone like me writing this book-a mere novice, but it's not for them. This book isfor people who can't cook because, either they have never hadthe interest in trying or are intimidated by their lack of cooking skills. So I'm definitely trying to reach the latter, but I hopeto create interest in everybody whether their cooking skills are good, bad, or mediocre. It contains my favorite recipes and I could have included many more and made this relatively short book a lot longer and more intimidating, but the purpose of this book is not to be recipe book, but rather, to find out how easy it is to cook. It's also meant to be entertaining. I tried to add humor; especially the drawings that illustrate some of the dialogue. One can read it cover to cover even if someone is not that interested in cooking because it's also at times an anecdotal account. If nothing else, think of it as a story
