For years I was blessed as a licensed marriage and family therapist to have a private practice in Florida.I counseled many husbands and wives, children, families, and business professionals during that time. Many of the people I met in counseling I still remember because of the nature of their journeys in life. Faith was always an integral part of my plan to assist them. In addition to using the principles of behavioral science to help people resolve their problems and concerns, I prayed for them. For Christians who came to see me, it was remarkable how many of them became aware of the importance of God in their daily lives. Talking to God in prayer became an important resource in their healing process. I'll never forget the middle-aged woman who, at her last session, stood up, hugged me and said, "Thank you for helping me to finally see that God is the only answer."This book of prayers is dedicated to her and to all of us who struggle with problems, challenges, and obstacles in life. While counseling and coaching is a valuable and reliable resource for troubled minds, hearts, and souls, in the final analysis, when you really think about it, God is the only answer. Have a conversation with him every day and invite him into your life. Even in hard times, you will always be richly blessed.
