"Leo?"
Lexi glanced up at him and saw his brows furrow over his cool, grey eyes. "Yes, my boyfriend." She waved her arm airily, indicating to the crowd. "He's somewhere around here."
"Boyfriend? Not mate?" he asked, sounding curious.
"He's not of-age yet," she told him. "Though I am sure he is my mate. At least, I think he is."
"And what if he's not?" he questioned. His face looked more somber than before, and Lexi wondered if he disapproved of their pairing before knowing if they were truly meant to be.
She merely shrugged. "I'll deal with that if it comes to pass."
