This book introduces the ongoing challenges and struggles inside of community colleges which are generally controlled by two semi-political groups. One group is a business-oriented upper administration assigned by right-wing political party that wants to run the college like a business unit and make it profitable. And the other group is the faculty/staff union with left-wing tendencies and some selfish members in charge who just care about their own gains, goals and preferences. None of the groups really care about the students, academics and the community. This story is about the governing environment of community colleges and the challenges that a simple faculty member had to take and endure for years to do his/her job right. Community colleges serve the most desperate and forgotten members of the society who do not deserve to lose their opportunity for a descent education. The book is an attempt to discuss the problems within community colleges with the hope that political parties would understand the situation and would pull their forces out of those units and let community colleges become academic again and not political units.
