We are talking about two distinctly different worlds, this natural world that were born into and an eternal world that we are blind to. Until we use the gift of faith can we become aware of the Eternal world. The problem is we naturally prefer the natural world, that we're familiar with. When we use the gift of faith to believe in the Eternal world, we just naturally merge the Eternal world with the natural world, in order to make the eternal (spiritual) World more tolerable. The natural world is controlled by doubt, whereas the spiritual world is controlled by faith. These two senses are the opposite from each other. When we mix these two opposites we get a distorted image of the big picture. The big picture is life after death. We will never be able to truly become aware of eternal life, until we eliminate doubt from our spiritual beliefs.
