This book is about the realities of the brunt that adultery has on the human (homo spiens) species inhabiting the planet Earth. That which we refer to as adultery being the relationship between a married man/woman and another woman/man who is not their wife/husband. This woman/man at times is also married to another man/woman. This relationship is an unnatural relationship because always the parties are playing hide and seek. The man/woman will never intend that the wife/hubby gathers wind of the nefarious relationship the man/woman is having. The other woman/man whom we say is cheating with him/her, also never anticipates that the husband/wife must hear about the despicable relationship. As such its a relationship of deception. Each person starts by deceiving themselves and then hopes that their self deception will succeed and cascade into their marriage partner somehow to the degree that they must believe whatever lie they are told and live it.The book articulates the fact and truth that whilst in the days of Jesus Christ, adultery apparently was a man committing such a sin or wrong doing, however it is evident and clear that this evil has also fallen on modern day women. It is no longer a matter of a man committing adultery but also a woman. By this is meant a scenario whereby the wife is the one who is cheating with another man whilst the husband is not cheating with any other woman.The book delves into understanding the thought behind adultery. The word spirit is used here because we are talking of something that we are never seeing with our human eyes. Thus, the equating of spirit of adultery to the spirit of Jezebel. Jezebel is a rebellious woman character who is an epitome of a marriage destroyer. And thus the reference to the spirit of Jezebel is intended to draw semblance of that thought which is behind the spirit of Jezebel to surmise that even if she is a whore, she must have a normal marriage. It derives from that thought or spirit in the Jezebel character that it is very clear that whenever persons indulge in adultery they are having the same thought of desiring to have a normal marital relationship even though they are whore like. When one has an emotional and spiritual relationship with another woman/man, that is a very act of adultery. Thus dear reader, the book develops its case on the evils of the spirit of adultery, which are subtle manifestations of the jezebel spirit. The victims and casualties of this evil are identified. Ultimately, a way forward is proposed for the future salvaging of humans from this subtle yet impactful evil is discussed. The crux of it all is to realise that this evil as insignificant as some may want to classify it, it is economically retrogressive, so to speak. Instead of progressing humans are taken backwards and chances of a better human species are wasted. Thus, the need for humans becoming aware of the ways and means the spirit manifests, so that there is proactivity. Human development is under threat as long as we fail to recognis the subtle manifestations of the spirit of Jezebel in the form of adultery.
