After throwing myself at drummer Rex Carlton for a week and being rejected, I walked away. Now Rex says I'm his fated mate.

I'm not even a wolf, but that's not seeming to deter him. Trouble is, how can I know if his feelings are genuine, or if his mating gene has gone awry? My heart isn't willing to take the risk.
