With 20 years of teaching experience both as a teacher in private schools of language and as a freelancer, I have come to realize that a holistic approach to teaching and learning English is the best way to make students understand how to use English grammar correctly. Another fundamental thing in English that many textbooks fail to emphasize is that English cannot be learned through forms but through contexts or contextualization. The explanations in the book, for the most part, are based on logic and common sense although I must admit that I can't provide you with all logical explanations. Try as I might, there are some rules of English grammar that I cannot see either logic or common sense. Where logic fails me, I will use a mnemonic device.
