I traveled through John and Mary's house, could see the triumphant and magnificent room and also read between the lines of her beloved mother Helen's painting! Imaginable! What caught my attention in a larger context was to be able to see the correlation in parallel (real time) that the work brings us during the tale with the reality we live in today! Always correlating. This is why it is a very rich tale; because it positions us in the real chaotic time and context of the pandemic and yet, not more important, it teaches us about other human experiences in the world, which can be positive!
