The Day I Talked With The Coronavirus: A children's book with a parent guide to facilitate a conversation

(Preschool to age 8) What if for a moment we can imagine a child's conversation with the coronavirus, what would they ask? What if a child could just vent about the changes it has brought to his or her life, what would they say? As a parent, during this pandemic, I have been at a loss for words trying to make sense of our new reality while at the same time finding the words to explain or answer my child's questions. Therefore, with my background as a early childhood mental health professional and a mother of a young child this book was created to support other adults in facilitating a conversation with a child about the current pandemic. The hope of this book is that it creates a relatable space for a child to open up about how this pandemic is impacting them and a space for an adult to support them just by listening.
