A Halloween Party

We are big kids now!

We don't need our Mom to come along when we trick or treat.

So think Justin and his sister, Katie. Reluctantly, Mom agrees and so this trick or treat journey begins.

The siblings start their evening following Mom's safety rules. But the witch's party in the spooky old house is simply too much to resist.

The book follows their adventure as the pair travel to the witch's house, experience the party, and then head back home again.

The story is presented as a traditional holiday poem. This is a picture book. The pictures present the unfolding tale. These illustrations depict typical Halloween scenes. Younger children will be comfortable viewing these pictures as the story is read to them. The rhyming text and some advanced vocabulary make this a better choice for an older primary student to read on their own. I feel even an adult would enjoy reading this book for a little Halloween fun.
