This is a second edition of a book first published in 2015. It is a book by a cancer patient who has lived with the disease for over 14 years. The author has been diagnosed five times with cancer including two grade four Glioblastoma (GBM4) brain tumours which present a terminal prognosis. (A life expectancy of between five and fifteen monthsThe author walks fellow cancer patients and their close ones through the experience of being diagnosed, facing up to the mental strain of the diagnosis, his treatment, side effects and after effects and how he personally set about his challenge to break through what he calls the walls, or barriers that seem to come down in front of the patient when diagnosed with cancer. He describes his journey with cancer as not a SOB story about what he has been through but a SUCCESS story about how he has been through it. The author's success in dealing with his own cancer challenges has inspired him to use this experience to encourage and motivate fellow cancer patients and their carers so that they may rise to their own challenges and ultimately fulfill their own dreams of beating cancer. With his success in becoming a long term survivor of a terminal cancer the author is able to offer himself as a "beacon of hope" to others who are facing a similar terminal prognosis.
