Solospaceman Comic Strip Synopsis I am the author of a collections of comic strips called solospaceman. One reason I drew and wrote them was that I wanted and want my readers to self-reflect on them. In fact, when my reader consciously relies on his own individual mental reasoning to interpret a comic strip that I had created (self-reflects), it allows him to examine what he finds relevant in it. Consequently, he makes connections to my comic strip stories that are based on his real-life experiences with what I have drawn and written. That in turn generates proficient readers who are capable of re-organizing my comic strips into meaningful reading experiences. Similarly, my comic strip drawing and writing style allow my reader to self-reflect on the particular comic strip story that she read by asking her to interpret it in her own way.
