Battle for Olartha: A Fight for World Health

An evil entity known only as the Fixer keeps watch on Xhanga from the skies above. The Fixer's goal is containment. He has threatened death and destruction to anyone who attempts to leave the village by boat or by air. His goal is to prevent the distribution of Olartha. The powerful medicine would throw the pharmaceutical industry on its ear because of its unsurpassed healing powers that would render many of its products obsolete.

Months earlier, the Fixer had hired lawless mercenaries to Annihilate Xhanga and destroy their olartha crop, but the Brazilian airforce had intervened.
Two separate efforts now attempt to defeat the Fixer's goal of containment.
One: Marcela secretly tries to lead a team of Xhangans to the opposite side of the world, where the special conditions for Olartha's growth exist.
Two: Reg Saunders has learned about olartha, and he believes it is the only cure for his wife, Karlene's rare cancer. He attempts to infiltrate the Fixers' organization, hoping to bring them to justice.

What dangers will Marcela and Reg face? Will either effort succeed?
