Equity in God's Love

Equity in God's Love is the result of the hearts that break for the treatment of black and brown people because of hatred and racism that permeates this country we all love, called the United States of America. The specific purpose of this book is for new clergy entering the Diocese of Central Florida, but its discussions of racism and racial healing offer a path forward to Christians and all people who would see God's love reign in our nation. It includes a useful day-by-day listing of highly accomplished African American men and women as a guide to celebrating Black History Month. Among it's other reference resources is a list of the 11 "titles" of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and a listing a resource books and publications for anti-racism training. The author, The Reverend Canon Christopher E. Brathwaite, is a priest in the Episcopal Church USA serving in the Diocese of Central Florida. A graduate from Asbury Theological Seminary with a Master's degree in Theology, he is chairman of the Becoming Beloved Community committee, focused on healing the wounds of racism. Equity in God's Love is his sixth published book.
