HELL IN MY HOMEINTROI am so tired. Jerry had me up late last night rubbing his feet and back like I don't need a back rub myself since I am the one pregnant for the third time. I didn't dare complain from fear that Jerry would beat and bam on me, so I sucked it up and did what he asked of me. Lord knows that I was tired of my husband taking out his anger on me and our daughter Jordan. I tried to leave Jerry before but he would terrorize my family until I came out of hiding. The police and even the courts had gotten involved at one point but Jerry had hired a lawyer and for some reasons the charges were dropped. If you asked me the judge was crooked as fuck. They had given Jerry residential custody of Jordan and my son. I tried to tell the judge about the abuse but they all thought that I was lying. I even had my family write letters to support what I was saying but still, the courts sided with my husband. Sadly, I went back home because I knew that Jordan would suffer greatly if I hadn't. This is my story about how the system failed me. I wished I had done more but I was so afraid of Jerry.
