In the year 2032 world population continues to increase and global warming threatens to devastate agriculture in southern Europe due to water shortages. Desperate European countries accept an offer of help from China to build a super Dam at the foot of the Adriatic Sea.The European Marine Board fund a mission to discover how they can improve oxygen levels that had dropped dangerously low. They recruit Jim to Command the Mission and Sonya to Captain one of the most advanced yachts ever built. On their first test sail they encounter two pirate ships that are attacking another yacht. What they discover takes them on a dangerous voyage across the Mediterranean Sea to prevent a secretive society from wreaking havoc.
