Authority and Dominion: An Economic Commentary on Exodus, Volume 1: Part 1: Representation and Dominion

The Book of Exodus is the Bible's premier book on liberation from tyranny.

Authority and Dominion is a three-part commentary; the fundamental issue that it covers is covenantal hierarchy in: church, family, and state.

Volume 1, published in 1985, was originally titled Moses and Pharaoh. This updated version is titled Representation and Dominion, and is the account of two representative figures: Moses and Pharaoh.

This book covers the great confrontation, beginning with the murderous Pharaoh (who enslaved the Hebrews and kept them in bondage for 80 years) of the oppression, who practiced infanticide for males - he stands in contrast to Asians today, who practice infanticide for females.

At the end of his period, Moses challenged this top-down bureaucracy; it was a war to the death...for Pharaoh...and the firstborn males of Egypt.

This is the story of bureaucratic regimentation vs. social liberation. It has remained the supreme story of liberty vs. tyranny in Western culture.
