Morgan Kennedy, an Associate Professor at the University, witnessed a bizarre crime in the park when she was walking her boys -- two beautiful, extremely trained dogs. Captain Bailey Trudeau of the Ninth Precinct answered the call and discovered an unconscious student with 'rapist' tattooed on his forehead. Bailey falls in love with Morgan until he learns that Morgan's father is the most-wanted criminal on the East Coast which puts him in a quandary. The Captain receives a call from the Campus Police and finds a professor duct-taped from throat to ankles. When the doctor removes the tape, he finds a note that states the professor is a child pornographer. Bailey finds proof and the man is arrested and charged. Next, the Captain meets a student (thru Morgan) who is missing money from his scholarship account and Bailey finds out that the Bursar is skimming money. Bailey's police life has taken a bizarre turn as more strange crimes are presented to him.. When Morgan gets shot, Bailey decides he loves her enough to overlook her relative. Who is the avenger?
