It's been almost a year since Tolga has seen his brothers, Aydin and Murat. They reunite on a family vacation across Asia. While tortured by rumors of a magical village said to grant wishes, Tolga obsesses over its possibility. Tolga questions his former belief that free will is absolute, and nothing happens for a reason. That bridge between what's real and what's magical begins to blend together into something indistinguishable, and Tolga searches for meaning in it all. The highly sought-after First Edition of "Some Third & Other Destiny" was published in 2020 during the pandemic and includes a custom map, author's letter, full-page illustration, and bio. The Second Edition, available online at a lower price, is almost identical to the First Edition but with minor differences. The author, who designs all his books, encountered formatting issues while creating the Second Edition, leading to a year-long process of manually re-editing and formatting the entire novel. The First Edition has fewer mistakes than the Second, with only occasional punctuation errors, but some paragraphs in the Second Edition are more detailed. The primary discrepancies between the two editions are in the interior title font, page numbering font, overall formatting, and cover design. Note that the First Edition is not available in hardcover or Kindle formats. Unfortunately, the original manuscript is lost, and this First Edition is the only remaining copy of Alejandro Duong's debut novel. He wrote the book in just three weeks in 2016 on a 1932 Royal typewriter and spent years refining it. This version is recommended for true fans who want to experience the novel as the author intended. Over-editing is possible, so this version is suitable for readers who prefer a more purist approach to the text.
