Introducing Strings

Beholden to nothing and no one, Atles carved out a place of his own amidst a grand city on the cusp of being revolutionised by industry. It was a life he had created for himself with a few nurtured blessings and was proud of it, it was a life he had earnt, a life thoroughly his. The death of his "father" was an anticipated phenomenon, it wasn't overly concerning to begin with and he had prepared but it still came somewhat unexpectantly. Despite slight mistakes while implementing his preparations he arrives essentially where he expected, the destination however yields perplexing circumstance after perplexing circumstance. While strange they aren't troubling, when events continue to conspire and drive him into a situation he never otherwise envisioned himself though the nature of his predicament becomes apparent. He and so many other, most of whom should be untouchable by conventional wisdom, seem to be dancing on strings.
