The Queen's Road

Two years have passed since Adrian Pent's sudden fall into the mysterious world of Cinraia. Though he's fought and won against the dark magic that threatens this new world, he discovers that the work of a Crusader is never done. Pent has pursued a life more fulfilling than any he could have dreamed of in his own world, but he laments those he has left behind.

Pent has helped Chief Lyle expand the reach of her village, Somerville, but not everyone is happy to see the southerners forge their own path. Outside forces, from the high reaches of the great city Vinalhaven to the magic worshippers of the land of the Freewalkers, are conspiring to put them back in their place. To them, Somerville's growth is a dire insult, and they refuse to let this insult stand.

The shadow of Yozer looms in the background as a greedy sorcerer, a manic zealot, and a slave-mongering pirate all seek their piece of the power left behind. Pent, along with Hanar, Catherine, and the rest of his friends, must act if their new home is to survive in this chaotic world. Will the plotting of these nefarious new threats prove too much for Pent, or will he show Cinraia that the strength of the Crusaders is not in title alone.
