When a traumatic brain injury scrambles your brain and your life, how do you go on? This woman wrote her story that initially, she couldn't form words well enough to tell. In her book, she beautifully paints her life and love in words. For years, after the accident, she doesn't have the capacity to think at all clearly. The only way she can adequately express her pain, loss, and despair is through painting. These paintings don't turn out beautifully, but they are authentic, honest, and tremendously expressive. They are reproduced in the book. She knows there lies a power within her that can heal. The struggle is to get to a quiet place to allow that to happen.
