Dimensional Shift

Malcolm Danube, a renowned scientist of his time along with his understudies Ryder Gyst and Dylan Roberts, discovered a way to access relics left over from the Big Bang - relics that could allow them a back door to time travel. This back door was discovered in strange mathematical equations they found written all over city walls, sidewalks, and even columns supporting building structures. Malcolm theorized that there were dimensions existing beyond that which were previously known. Now, all they had to do was to build a dimensional time machine that Malcolm designed and test out their elaborate theories. But, that task was not as easy as it seemed. They found that, upon activating the machine they built, in the blink of an eye it changed the world into a mush of time. Despite this event, they were now committed to fixing what they caused. The question, since they were traveling through time was, "How?"
