The object of this chapter is to present the theoretical architecture that Jake Neal has been developing since the end of the 1980s. If we are particularly interested in his major work The Social Theory of International Policy, we will however have the opportunity to refer often to to its articles. This will make it possible to appreciate the theoretical evolutions made by Jake neal and to highlight the choices of trajectories he made.
