Every victory we receive through answered prayers is due to the Lord's mercy. Without His mercy, we could not conquer what we wanted.

Prayers filled with declarations of His word cause God to move His hand in our favor. We can enjoy answered prayers because He had mercy on us and not because of personal merits. Not because we declared ten times the word related to what I was asking of Him, but because, in a moment of intimacy with God, Jesus poured out His mercy for our lives and there was what many call "breakthrough". I would say, rather, that God's mercy manifested. Touching the heart of God to gain His favor through a constant search through prayer leads us to where God wants us to be.
