Memoirs of An Ordinary Goddess: One Woman's Dysfunctional Journey to Find True Love

The title of this book was inspired by a quote I read by artist and fantasy author Selina A. Fenech. She describes a goddess as "A woman who is in the process of learning to know, accept, and love herself on all levels, mind, body, and spirit." I have spent fifty-two years striving for all of the above, forever changing and trying to grow into the person I want to be. Life is a learning process from the second we leave the womb until we take our last breath. Not all our life lessons are positive ones, far from it. It's what you do with those lessons that make the difference.

The ordinary part, that's how I always viewed myself. Because I never considered myself special in any particular way, I settled for most of my life. This is especially true when it comes to romantic relationships. It took me many years of therapy, yoga, meditation, and devouring multitudes of self-help books to realize that I was worthy of being adored and treated like every woman should be. This book is about healing, self-discovery, and learning to love yourself enough to attract authentic love in return. That fairy tale, movie, perfect kind of love that we all desire.
