With the holidays quickly approaching, the kids plan out their upcoming Christmas party. Though there are once again trains traveling on some of the lines, non of the group have plans to go anywhere for Christmas.

Christmas morning, Cole reveals that he's been exchanging letters with someone who might be Sylphy's mom. Despite agreeing to meet with her, Sylphy can't help but feel conflicted. This could be the chance to reunite with her real family, but over the last two and a half years, she's found a new family, and friends, who love her and she them.

These last two years have also taught her that things rarely go smoothly and that there are those out there, whether human or beast, that enjoy causing trouble. Could this really be her family?
