Loving Little Me

In her second poetry book, "Loving Little Me," Brittany N. Nelson describes her transition from victim to victor, using her words as a template. This poetry collection is about finding her self-worth, building her self-esteem and sense of purpose. Throughout life, she's been in search of her place in this world and learning life lessons that at times have been harsh but enlightening. Taking stands for unpopular beliefs, wearing her emotions on her sleeves, not always being the first person to reach out and pick up the phone- these small but mighty moments have contributed to the weights that she has gradually lifted off of her shoulders and placed in the pages of this book. "Loving Little Me," is a message to her younger self to always stay true to herself, to never compromise her personal values, and that even in the face of struggle and defeat, she can use her words as weapons to conquer and triumph.
