Among other things, I am a woman, a Christian and a doctor. All of these facets influence each other and shape my vision and my actions in the face of the events that God has allowed me to experience.
This book describes my experiences through one of these facets: the medical one, which I present through splashes of color on the canvas of my point of view as a Christian woman. I believe that not all the diseases a doctor faces have a biological origin or field of action, so neither do their treatments. True health is comprehensive, and so should be treatments, but we can only understand this if God is the one who guides our steps, who teaches us.
