Giving Tree

Life is the branches of a giving tree

So lift your leaves to the rain thirstily

Drink in life as it pours down from the sky

Sway in the wind of passion before you die

Reach your limbs up toward the bright sun

Dig your roots into the strong earth and run

Let others take refuge in the cover of your leaves

When the floods come stay firm in all you believe

Bear your fruits and let others taste their potent flavor

Stand proud, and even if the storms come, never waiver
