May, a 12-year old girl from a small town in Washington State relocates to a new town with her family. The new apartment they move into seems ordinary, but she quickly discovers that her closet holds an incredible secret. The closet not only leads her to a new friend but also to the greatest adventure the two girls would ever experience. Much to their delight and dismay, the two find themselves deep into a time-twisting adventure of excitement and trouble two hundred seventy-four years in the past! ..... How did they get here?
