Russ Lawson has been a minister for 50 years and traveled all over the country and worked in Kenya, East Africa as a missionary for a number of years. During all of those years he has dealt with death and grief, but has learned that the death of a pet is something special. It is just as intent and painful as loosing any other family member.

Russ has tried to put on paper his and his wife's experiences with their three fur babies. Each of their deaths was a deep and painful experience emotionally. They grieved, but learned to deal with the losses.

This book was written to try and help others understand that they are not alone in their special grief. They are not strange or weird, they are caring people who love deeply and that is as it should be.
