Abu Al-Abbas: A Tribute To Lost Souls

Abu Al-Abbas: A Tribute To Lost Souls
This is the story of a Palestinian commando whose love for his country was unconditional. A man, whose nom de guerre was Abu al-Abbas, who put Palestine above religion, personal interests, Arab and regional political interests, until the last moment of his mysterious death.
This book is a memoir and also a brief history of Palestinian politics from the 1967 war to the 2003 US invasion of Iraq. It revolves around its protagonist Mohammad al-Abbas, known by his nom de guerre Abu al-Abbas (1948-2004). A military commander of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) and secretary-general of the Palestinian Liberation Front (PLF), his career took him from civil war Lebanon in the 1970s to Tunisia in 1983, and finally, Saddam Hussein's Iraq in 1986, where he lived for the last seventeen years of his life.
